St Patty's Day!

I LOVE St Patrick's Day! What other day of the year can you dress up in green & drink green beer & take green shots...ok, you all get it! So...as you probably read in one of my earlier posts, Nick & I decided to have a party this year. I had gone to Dollar Tree a few weeks before & bought a bunch of random decorations & headbands & stuff. (I like to be festive!) Anyhoo, Anna & Ruzz got there early that night to help set everything up. We also had to try out some of the Jello shots that I had made...mmmm good!

(This is Patty Day O'Mally!! He is our St Patrick's Day mascot!! He started out saying, "Make it in me toilet or I kick ye arse!" Just wait to see what he is saying by the end of the night.....)

Everyone started arriving around 7:00ish & the party was well on it's way! To be honest, most of the night is kinda blurry...I think I liked the Jello shots a little bit too much!

About halfway through the night I ended up in the bathroom w/ Anna...who wasn't feeling to well. Yup, she had gone a bit crazy w/ the shots. I noticed that she was acting a tad loopy earlier in the night & I told her to stay away from the shots but she didn't listen. So, I had to get her settled in bed & Ruzz & I took turns checking in on her throughout the rest of the evening.

By the end of the night we had Anna passed out in the guest room w/ Ruzz & Ally passed out on the dining room floor. We also had Jessica & Sam camped out in the living room. Jerod & Nick stayed up till the wee hours playing video games & I sobered up enough to head to bed around 3:00ish...I think.

I'm proud to announce that I did NOT have a hangover the next day! Now Anna...she wasn't so lucky. We went to Perkins around noon the next day for some grub. Anna had to run to the bathroom a few times. Poor girl...I know her pain!

All in all it was a great party! No fights, no holes in the walls, no broken things, & puke only where puke should be! :D
