Is It Friday Yet??

I am WAY not a big fan of Mondays! (Who is really?) Especially Mondays that are rainy & dreary like today! Blah! I would kill to be able to just go home & jump in my soft, warm bed! *Sigh* What do ya do??...I had a pretty good weekend though.

Fri night I decided to be lazy so I just hung around the house & watched some TV. (Being lazy is one of my favorite hobbies! ;)

Sat I was still feeling pretty lazy but I managed to come up w/ enough energy to go to Walmart w/ Nick & then head to his mom's for a bonfire. We were dog-sitting for our neighbors so we took their cutie-pa-tutie dog Dizzy w/ us. She sure lives up to her name! She goes around & around & around in a little circle when she gets excited! She makes me dizzy watching her!! Anyway, Nick's mom has a pool & I sure as hell wasn't getting into it since it was so chilly but Nick was bound & determined to go swimming! CRAZY BOY! The water was 70 degrees but it sure felt colder to me! So, here Nick is...playing around in the pool & here I am...in jeans, a jacket, & tennis shoes...sitting there catching all the Nerf balls he decided to shoot at me!

After Nick decided he had enough of the cold pool we meandered over to the toasty fire that Nick's stepdad had built. It was nice just sitting around & cooking some good old camp fire food! Nick's sister, brother-in-law, & nephew showed up later that night. Nick's nephew, we'll call him little G, asked for his sunglasses because the fire was so bright! What a goober! :D

We left Nick's mom's around 11:00 & stopped by my aunt Annette's house for my cousin Missy's 20th birthday party. The majority of the people had left but it was a good time anyway. Missy was defiantly having a great time! I'm pretty sure she was feeling no pain!

My brother Jerod was having a bonfire w/ some of his friends that night too so we stopped there for a second on the way home. They had a HUGE fire going! I wonder if it's still burning...?? ;)

I got to sleep in a little on Sun morning which was super! (I love sleep!) My mom & Anna came over & we went to the Gallagher Bluedorn Bridal Show. (My first one since being engaged!) They had a few exhibitors & a fashion show. I think this must have been their first year doing this because there really weren't a lot of vendors. It did give me a few ideas though & I got to spend some time w/ my mom & sis!
