Ho Hum...What have I been up to??

Babies! Babies! Babies! I LOVE babies!! ;) We had a special surprise last week when my co-worker Mandy brought in her brand new baby boy Lakin! The poor little guy has had a rough time! He wasn't even a week old & he was taken back to the hospital for a staph infection! :( He was lucky & ended up getting out early. The doctors put him on antibiotics so as not to spread the infection to others. So, we were no able to hold him but Mandy is going to bring him back in soon so that we can all play pass the baby! LOL

I also got to spend some time w/ my friend/neighbor/co-worker Erica's son Caleb! (He's such a cutie!) We decided to go to Artapalooza this weekend in Cedar Falls...even though the weather was pretty crappy! Anyways, I've never been to Artapalooza before but I really wanted to go because my friend/co-worker Emily had a booth & I've been wanting to purchase some kickass checkbook covers from her! Well, I got my sweet checkbook covers & got to check out some other artist's work. We decided to eat lunch at Toad's & by the time we were finished the sun had peeked out! So, we decided to walk up & down a bit & check things out more thoroughly since we had pretty much just ran by everything before trying not to get soaked. Here's where my day goes down hill a bit. About half way down the street I realize that my wallet is missing! CRAP! I've never lost anything like that before! Erica, Caleb, & I re-traced our steps & headed back to Toad's to see if I had dropped it there. No luck!! I'm kinda freaking out at this point because the wallet contained my ID, debit card, & Discover card! We ended up leaving & I called to cancel my cards & all that. Not to long after I got off the phone I get a call from a SUPER GREAT lady who had found my wallet!! YIPPY!! I went back & got it & my $11.00 was still there even!! :D I love honest people!! All in all it was a good day!

Anna & I had some fun tonight when Donna from Beauti Control stopped by to give us a FREE consultation! (I LOVE FREE!) I met Donna at the Gallagher Bluedorn bridal show last weekend. They do a Mobile Day Spa so we got to try some product & relax. I'm giving their skin care products a try so I hope it works!
