Last weekend...the weekend before Halloween...was suppose to be a weekend jam packed full of fun stuff to do!! Or not..... I had taken Fri off to go dress shopping w/ Teresa & Anna. We stopped by Hope's Bridal, Heart To Heart, & David's Bridal. I found two dresses in particular that I liked. (I dragged mom, Nicole, & Anna down to Cedar Rapids w/ me the following Mon night to get their opinions on these two particular dresses & everyone seems to like one over the other.) I think I'll be going w/ that one but I'll probably wait a little bit before I actually order it. (It's exciting but I really didn't know that searching for a dress would be so stressful!!)
Anyway, Teresa, Anna, & I stopped at Michael's before we left Cedar Rapids that Fri night & I started to feel really achy & just kinda blah. By the time we got home I was freezing but sweating at the same time! It sucked!! I was suppose to go to a hockey game that night, the UNI Craft Show on Sat morning, another hockey game Sat night, & the Cornerstone Halloween party Sat night but I missed out an ALL of it!! :( I just sat at home on my couch all weekend. Usually, I would enjoy chillin on the couch but when you have to do it it's just not as fun. I felt the crappiest on Fri night & on Sat morning when I had a small fever. By Sun I was feeling better so I did the dishes & some laundry. (Gosh! Look at me & my exciting life!! ;) So, my fun weekend went down the drain. On a happier note the Black Hawks won both games & Nick won the costume contest at the Cornerstone so he gets a FREE KEG!! We're going to use the keg for my b-day party this coming Sat!! Sweetness!! I'll be turning the big *25* tomorrow!!
