Ok, now that I'm back from LaLa-Land I'll continue w/ my Halloween post.....BOO!!
I guess I'll first start off with the birthday dinner at Teresa & Gary's. Nick's brother-in-law Grant, his step-sister Amy, & I have b-days that are close together so we always do one dinner to celebrate them all. We had this dinner last Tues. Teresa made lasagna & garlic bread. We also had jello w/ pears & whipped cream & snicker salad! YUM! There were monster cookies & red velvet cake for dessert!! (The monster cookies were my request!! Drool!!) We all had a great time & Little G defiantly had a good time hanging out w/ Fluffy, Teresa's new kitty. My youngest brother Jerod had found a cat at the shop where he works. It was the friendliest cat so he brought it home to my mom's & it was living in my mom's entryway. Well, when Teresa came to pick Anna & me up to go dress shopping a few weeks ago she fell in love w/ it! So, Teresa adopted her & named her Fluffy! Little G & Fluffy crawled around the kitchen floor side by side before dinner. It was so-> cute!!

Anways, now on to Halloween!! Everyone was very festive at work! People dressed up & trick-or-treated & there was a chili cook-off!! There were also many little ones that came to visit to show off their outfits & get some CANDY! It was hard to stay focused w/ all the fun stuff going on!!

After work I went to mom's. We got Ashton & Lexie into their costumes & then headed off to Washburn for some trick-or-treating!! Ashton was Darth Vader w/ his "lightsaver" & Lexie was The Little Mermaid or as Lexie says, Little "Mernaid"! We met up w/ Kevin, a friend of ours, & his grandson Ryan who was the famous Captain Jack Sparrow! The weather was awesome & there were kids everywhere! They got more than enough candy to last them for awhile!!

I soon said goodbye to everyone & went home to meet up w/ Nick & to get ready for Halloween night at the bars!! I've never actually gone to the bars on Halloween before so I was pretty excited! We first went to Voodoo where The Snozzberries were playing! My Godfather Jon is in the band. We hung out & had some drinks & then Bethany & some of her friends showed up. Bethany & I decided to ask the bartender for a strong shot. Well, he gave us what we asked for!! I have no idea what we took but damn!! I defiantly started to feel a bit of a buzz after that!!

After Voodoo we walked over to Jokers so that we could shake our groove thangs!! Bridge & her hubby Dean met up w/ us while we stood in line to get in. We also ran into Amy! I loved her moose costume!! (You're representing Alaska very well Amy!!) When we finally got in we found Holly, Nathan, Jolene, & her hubby. I was on the dance floor most of the night! So much so that I ended up barefoot because my heels were killing me!! We had a blast!!

When Jokers closed up at 2:00 we went to the afterhours bar...not sure what it's actually called?? I had never been to it before that night but it seems like a cool little place to chill...from what I remember!?! ;) It usually cost $10 to get in but my brother Brandon has connections so we got in for $5. (Thanks bro!!) I sobered up a bit & Nick & Bridge played some pool. Then, it was off to bed!!

Nick & I slept in until about 3:00 on Sat...oops! We had a little to much fun on Fri night so we were worn out!! Hee Hee! Bridge & Dean stopped by so that she could try on one of the bridesmaid dresses! It fit her perfect!! (Those bridesmaid dresses were meant to be!!) I eventually took a shower so that we could go to the hockey game.
The game was awesome!! We played Green Bay. We made a goal first!! Then, they made a goal. (Boo!) The second period was uneventfull. In the third period GB got a goal & then the BHs got a goal & then another!! (Whoop Whoop!) Then, GB made one so we were tied!! (Crazy!!) The game went into overtime w/ no goals made. So, it went into a shoot out where we finally won!! It was freaking great!! GO BLACK HAWKS!! We haven't lost a home game yet. Let's hope it stays that way!! One poor girl got hit in the head w/ a puck though! I felt so-> bad for her. She was bleeding & they took her off to get checked out. I sure hope she got a free game or something!

Sun morning we meet up w/ my family for brunch at Cornerstone. I had my classic grilled cheese & fries! I just can't get enough grilled cheese!! Love it!! We stopped by Family Video to rent some movies on our way home & ran into my cousin Jenny. She's getting married a month before me so we had some wedding talk & then went on our way. I feel better knowing that she has no idea what she's doing either!!
